Fountainhead
Globally, famous colleges and universities are built surrounding its library as it is considered the backbone
of education and the center of knowledge which enlightens all minds.
Named after Ayn Rand's 1943 novel, "The Fountainhead", the iLEAD main library nurtures reading habits of
students and attracts book lovers from all over the world. Built on a sprawling area of over 3900 sq.ft. and
with almost 1,20,000 books, the library is literally a treasure trove of an ever growing collection of books,
journals, magazines and newspapers.
The state-of-the-art library is fully automated through
KOHA with OPAC facility. There are computer terminals
to help students search for the resources available and where they can freely browse on the internet and
prepare presentations. There is a separate Journal and Periodicals section too.
"Explorer's World", the Audio Visual Library has an area of 800 sq. ft.It has over 2,500 CDs/DVDs and more than
2,000 e-resources which include e-books, documentaries, tutorials and articles on various subjects. The digital
library is equipped with 12 MAC and 5 desktop for users.
Both the libraries together have a seating capacity of 124 students.
