Biman Samanta, the head of our VFX department, is responsible for managing faculties and updating the VFX syllabus in keeping with the industry's trends. He is also responsible for recruiting faculty members, their training and placing students in different agencies. Mr Samanta's career started with 2D classical animation, and he slowly moved into 3D keyfram animation, CG and finally VFX. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the VFX industry. Among them are Crest Animation Studios,Future works studio, Prime Focus World, Filaments Visual Effects, paramount vision pvt ltd, Nion FX Studios and RGB Labs. With an experience of more than 10 years, his kitty includes films like Life of Pi, 300 Part 2, I Robot, spy kids 4, hoodwinked 2, water for elephant, conan the barbarian, immortals, dolphin tale, scott pilgrim, the day after tomorrow, battleship, jumper, gi joe 2, twilight 5, predator, after earth (vfx and stereoscopic) and so on.
