On July 29, 2022, Students of B.Sc in Cyber Security, Bijoy Sonari of 2020-2023 batch, and Harsh Verma of 2021-24 batch, participated in Hackathon, organised by Kolkata Police in collaboration with IEM Labs at Netaji Indoor Stadium.

Eight hours were allotted to each of the teams in attendance at this first-of-its-kind competition in West Bengal to complete all of the challenges. Even though the boys weren't able to finish all of the obstacles on time, they still placed 128th out of a total of 500 teams.

The group of two called Sentinels was only allowed to play the hackathon after they had generated their invite code by hacking the registration webpage. After getting the code, they got access to the challenges that they had to solve.

The Hackathon was a great learning experience for our students and inspired them to participate in more such challenges in the future.
