On the occasion of Teachers' Day, iLEAD feels honored to felicitate some exemplary teachers who have been a source of inspiration not only to their students, but to all of us in the field of education.Our Committee of stalwarts and experts in Education, deliberated and selected those who have made a mark in leading preschools, schools, colleges, Industrial Training Institutes and Universities to make their educational institutions truly" 21st Century Ready" and to make our city and state proud. Their unstinting effort to lead with a mission has been recognized by our team.

Ms Mallika Verma - Principal of Kangaroo Kids . Ms. Malika Varma is the Administrator of Kangaroo Kids, a pre-school and kindergarten in New Alipore. She started this school 14 years ago with just 40 little children. Today the school has achieved tremendous success and has a student strength of 250. The pre-school boasts of an extremely enriching mother-and-child interactive program which provides a medium of learning, development and bonding for the child. 

Ms. Anjana Saha, Principal of Mahadevi Birla World Academy, Kolkata, has over 20 years of collective experience, as a Senior Teacher of English and Head of Department, in schools like G.D Birla Centre for Education, Modern High School and La Martiniere for Girls. In Sept 2012, she represented the country as the only Indian Delegate at the Worlds Together Conference held in UK. She is empanelled with Oxford as a resource person for delivering motivational workshops and other deliverables to school faculty.

Ms. Saisree Ramesh, is the Headmistress of National High School (Girls), Kolkata. She holds a Master's Degree in Ancient History, from Calcutta University. A dynamic teacher, she has taught various disciplines like Social Studies, English, Hindi, though History remains her favorite. She believes in all round development of children and aspires to create an environment, where a child irrespective of class performance, looks forward to coming to school.

Mr. Rabin Debnath is the Principal & Assistant Apprenticeship Adviser, at Industrial Training Institute for Physically Challenged Boys & Girls, and Basic Training Centre, Kolkata. He is an esteemed member of The Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata, The Institution of Engineers (India), and the Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi.

Dr. Gargi Nath - Principal Jogamayadevi College Ms. Gargi Nath is the Principal of Jogamaya Devi College. She studied English literature at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). She is a Senate member of The University of Calcutta and also a visiting Professor of English Literature at IGNOU. She has contributed substantially to higher education in the state in different academic and administrative capacities.
