iLEAD Alumni Meet 2017

Alumni meets are all about reminiscing the good old days spent with some really close people and reliving those moments as one grows older. iLEAD lived up to the expectations of its ex-students (and also the current ones) as it organized its Alumni Meet, 2017, last Sunday (22nd January). This year, it was on a much larger scale and grander, as alumnus from the batches of 2010- 2014, including staff and faculties left the college early in the morning and assembled at Baruipur, Baganbari around 9:30 a.m.
The day started with the welcome address by the Chairperson of the institute, Mr. Pradip Chopra, followed by a delicious breakfast. Alongside the fun activities that kept unfolding through the day, the autumn edition of the Alumni magazine, 'Reminiscence-a year that was' got launched. This was a first ever initiative that iLEAD had taken and indeed the Meet was the perfect platform to launch the same. With great performances by students, there were several interesting games like pot-breaking, antakshari and more; all of which kept everyone enthralled.
The award ceremony was another notable event that got everyone applauding for the winners. This year, Mr. Alumnus was Chandan Sahoo (BBA 2013) and Mansi Shah (BMS 2013), Ms. Alumnus. Arsalan Aiyub (M. Sc. 2014) was the recipient of the Best Dressed Male award, while the female counterpart was Adiba Kadir (M.Sc 2014). A special award was also given to Karthikey Tripathi (M.Sc. 2014) for Excellence in Academics.
A day of fun and frolic amidst such hectic schedules is almost rare these days. iLEAD has always tried its best to be innovative for its students and employees. The Alumni Meet 2017 will always stay etched in the memories of all those who gathered, till of course the next meet, when they return with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.
