The NSS Unit of iLEAD organised a tree plantation drive on 9th June,2022 with an aim to celebrate World Environment Day.

The mentors and 5 NSS volunteers took part with great enthusiasm. We had planted sapling near our college campus.

This drive had an objective to raise global awareness about the significance of healthy environment by implementing some actions to protect nature and earth leading to a positive and healthy environment for all.

The aim of the plantation drive was to combat many environmental issues like:

• Deforestation
• Erosion of soil
• Global warming
