On July 15th, 2022, The Jefferson Junior Debates 2022 took place at the American Centre, Kolkata.

Presented by the U.S. Consulate General Kolkata and iLEAD, the Jefferson Debates is a platform to contemplate and voice opinion on critical issues of today.

The topic of the debate had been “The U.S.-India strategic relationship thrives on democratic values”.

Mr. Adrian Patt, Director, American Centre, US Consulate General Kolkata, had been the moderator of the session.

Some of the participating schools were La Martinere Boys, Shri Shikshayatan, Modern High School, Pratt Memorial, and more.
