Vidya dadati vinayam,

dhanaat dharmam tatatsukham.

Education gives Humility, 
Humility gives Character, 
from character one gets wealth, 
from wealth one gets righteousness,
in righteousness there is joy.

This joy is being aptly celebrated annually by the Ileaders on every 5th September as THE FOUNDER’S DAY. This year it took a step forward and went beyond the campus of ILEAD to be celebrated at the Kalakunj. There were several distinguished guests who graced the occasion by their august presence. The Chief Guest was Prof Malayendu Saha, Vice Chairman, West Bengal State Council of Higher Education, who presided over the function and also delivered the welcome address.

The iLEAD employees presented a welcome song by the Tagore....Aanondoloke, mongola loke, birajo sotyo sundoro...followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Prof Saha was felicitated by the iLEAD Chairman, Pradip Chopra.

Prof Saha, in his welcome address defined the meaning of the term TEACHER, who enlightens the lives his students and steer them to achieve their true sense of accomplishment in life.

Then the Convocation Ceremony underway the outgoing batch of ILEAD that ushered a new beginning in their life. 

The most alluring performance of the day was by our Chairman, Pradip Chopra who belted out two Mukesh’ numbers --- which pertinently depicts the true aspiration of life that every young lad must reverie of...KISI ki muskurahoton pe ho nisaar....kisi ka dard mil sake to le udhar ...kisi ke waste ho tere dil mein pyar...jina isi ka naam hai...

There was Awards of Excellence to a few external Faculties on the occasion of Teacher’s Day who with their extensive array of experience were competent in their respective fields to receive the honour.

"Yato manaha stato bhava"...

"Yato bhava stato rasa"...

--- Where the mind is, there is the expression"

---Where there is expression, there is zest”

          

This zest was showcased in the true light of exemplary performances by our iLEAD students both in senior and junior categories -- From dance recital to skit, band to group dance and scores of innovative acts.

The ‘Journey of ILEAD’ a short film was screened on the occasion to share the success story of iLEAD till date.

The employees of iLEAD presented Vividhtta mein ekta- Dances of India that illustrated the fervour of Unity in Diversity from north, south, east and west but in the end all come in sync to dance to the tunes of dhitang dhitang bole, ke madole taan tole, kar anondo ucchole akaash bhore jochonaae...to celebrate life as a celebration.

ILEAD honoured their outstanding employees for their commendable feat annually, which comes under the category of the Awards for Superlative performers.

Then the New Student Council and respective clubs members along with their Mentors’ took on the stage for the Oath - taking ceremony.

A montage by the passing-out batch, Preparation for the Stage caught the glimpses of the highs and lows of the ileaders (students and employees) to put up a successful show of the Founders Day.

As we know every good thing comes to end --The occasion was concluded by the Vote of thanks both by the Executive Director and the Vice President of iLEAD. We ileaders fervently look forward to the next year to make it another majestic show.
