iLEAD hosted the State Women's Rating Chess Championship 2019 organised by the Kolkata District Chess Association (KDCA), the official body for promoting chess in Kolkata City, under the aegis of the Bengal Chess Association.

Almost 150 children participated in the competition of chess to demonstrate their intellect. The tournament took place at iLEAD from May 16th to May 19th, 2019.

Hon’ble Minister Smt. Sashi Panja, had been the Chief Guest on the final day of May 19th to distribute the prizes among the winners.
