On 9th October, Project Life Force organized a Blood Donation Camp at iLEAD. Project Life Force (PLF) was formed in the summer of 2013 keeping in view the acute shortage of blood in West Bengal. The idea was to bridge this gap in the short-term while having a youth oriented plan to completely overcome the shortage by the year 2020 Team PLF soon realized that the primary reason for not donating blood was that the majority didn’t know of this shortage. The discovery gave birth to our now adopted ADD model, i.e. Awareness-Donation-Distribution.

The camp at iLEAD was from 11:00 am-3:30 pm. Many iLEAD students were informed and educated about the camp the week before at the iLEAD auditorium and on the day of the camp numerous iLEAD students joined in the great task of the donation which also had all the required refreshment and food counters, doctors and medical checkups.
