On August 26th 2022, the students of Allied Health had the opportunity to visit the Ruby General Hospital, Kolkata.

iLEAD has a tie up with Ruby General Hospital and the hospital visit was the first learning activity for our students on the part of the association.

The 1st Semester students of BBA Hospital Management, BSc in Medical Lab Technology and BSc in Medical Instrumentation and Critical Care Technology had visited the Ruby General Hospital on 26th August 2022.

Ruby General Hospital is NABH Accredited and an ISO 9001:2015 hospital, which is the first hospital that has instituted “Patients Bills of Rights”. The hospital’s Advanced Diagnostic service is backed by 24x7 NABL Accredited Pathology and is the centre of excellence in Oncology, with Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology.

The students have been well guided by the team from Ruby General Hospital and they saw all the departments like Out Patient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), Radiology, Diagnostic Department, Critical Care Units, the ICUs , NICUs and PICUs, Emergency Department etc.

The students were very happy to have the hospital visit at Ruby General Hospital.
