On September 1st 2022, students from the Optometry department of iLEAD had the opportunity to visit the Centre for Sight, an eye hospital at the AJC Bose Road, Kolkata.

Centre for Sight is a Mahindra Collaboration with around 50 eye care centres across India. The students at the visit got to witness the operations of an eye hospital. They were also given firsthand knowledge of various equipment used by eye care professionals. They received a general idea about the functioning of an eye care facility.

The 1st semester students of Bachelor in Optometry visited the Centre For Sight eye centre. They have seen and have been well guided by the team from Centre For Sight on different divisions doing LASIK & refractive surgeries, cornea services, advanced retina services, glaucoma services, Cataract eye surgeries, Low Vision Aid, to name a few.
