Bichitra Pathshala is a society which works with teachers and students to encourage innovative teaching learning methods in the classroom in keeping with the motto of 'learning through moving images' as with today's technology savvy generation, using moving images in the classroom situation and otherwise is a highly effective communication tool.

Earth Day Network-India has collaborated with Bichitra Pathshala, in the last few years interacting with students and teachers alike in organizing workshops and film making contests. For the last three years Bichitra Pathshala have had a film making competition for students in association with iLEAD known as Earth Reel.

This year the contest for Earth Reel will encourage students to explore their neighbourhoods to find some positive actions for the environment and report this through a 2 minute news capsule.
