The NSS Unit of iLEAD organized the program of Beat The Heat that started from April 20th 2022. From 1 pm to 3 pm everyday during the hot summer season, iLEAD took up the initiative to keep everyone hydrated.

Glucon-D is provided everyday to the needy outside the iLEAD Campus.

The event was organized to provide some relief to the people working on the streets or walking across in the scorching heat of 42 degree Celsius. The glucose helped the commuters gain some energy during the heat wave.

The month long initiative also witnessed great community engagement of the student volunteers with the locals. At times, even the local people helped our student volunteers while catering to the tired commuters.

The event was organized by asking for contribution in cash or kind (providing Glucon-D packets) from students and staff of iLEAD.
