Alumni Talk Session 2017

iLEAD organized an alumni talk session where successful passout students of the institute shared their experience with current media and management students of iLEAD. The alumni who were present in this occasion included- Ms Manasi Shah and Mr Samriddha Ganguly. Manasi Shah is a graduate in Bachelors of Media Science from iLEAD (BMS 2012-15). She has done internships at Taaza TV, Times of India and The Telegraph. She started her professional career as a content writer for an IT firm. Later she became a trainee journalist at The Telegraph and is currently in the position of a sub editor in the features department of The Telegraph. Mr Ganguly, belonging to same batch as Manasi started B.com after class 12 but left it for the love of cinema. He was student at iLEAD where while he worked as an intern in Little Lamb Films, Mumbai. Currently a student at the MET FILM SCHOOL, London and an independent film maker, Samriddha directed 12 short films and 1 feature film. He also assisted in 3 short films and 3 advertisments. He has been nominated for best director in Smart Screen Creative Awards 2017
The alumni members suggested the current batch to be active in all kinds of academic and co-curricular activities conducted by the institute. Some of the students from the current batch of media also shared their experience about studying at iLEAD. The alumni also stressed on the fact that the teachers of the institute had played a great role in shaping their future through their active support and several events for development of all kind of professional and industry centric skills.
After the inspiring speech by the alumni Ms Anindita Bose (Faculty - Management Studies) and Ms Sookannya Dasgupta (Academic Coordinator - Management Studies) felicitated them. The alumni of iLEAD took time from their busy schedule to come to this occasion, make their institute proud and inspire the future students to move ahead in professional life.
