The much awaited first alumni meet was held on 20th February at the institute's rooftop on 20th February. Since its origins 5 years back this meet was much needed. From students to staff, there were old and new members who were delighted to have a reunion. 

An enlightening speech by Chairman Mr Pradip Chopra inspired the audience as he spoke about the academics, industry, entrepreneurship and much more. The evening featured song and dance performances by students and faculty members. A noteworthy mention is the performance by Arka and Friends (Faculty member Arkaprava Chattopadhyay's fresh new musical line up). The evening also bestowed the coveted honour of 'Mr and Ms. Alumni' on students who have now become achievers in their respective industries. The delicious veg banquet organized at the rooftop attracted the foodies and people engaged in yesteryear conversations and nostalgia over dinner tables. Students and alumni members jived and frolicked to the DJ music. In the end, everyone left with an enthusiasm and hopes for next year's Alumni meet.
