NSS is also known as the National Service Scheme. It is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

NSS recently completed 53 years since it started and the NSS Unit of iLEAD also celebrated the same.

The students of iLEAD who are NSS volunteers organized an event to commemorate the occasion.

Students performed on the stage with traditional Bengali dhunuchi. They also performed contemporary dances with meaningful messages.

A skit was also performed on stage.

The NSS volunteers also gave a presentation on how to join NSS, services provided by them, benefits, contribution of youth through NSS, and more.
