Indian media and entertainment (M&E) industry grew at a CAGR of 10.90 % from FY17-18 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 13.10% to touch Rs 2,660.20 billion (US$ 39.68 billion) by FY23.
Television industry grew from INR 660 billion to INR 740 billion in 2018, registering a growth of 12%.
The film segment grew 12.2 % in 2018 to reach INR 174.5 billion, driven by the growth in digital/OTT rights and overseas theatricals.
Digital media grew 42 % to reach INR 169 billion.
Once you are in iLEAD, you can also take up the short-term professional courses offered by iLEAD. One short-term course is offered completely free of cost to a regular iLEAD student. These courses help you to be industry ready. Classes for these courses are generally held during weekends.
Minimum 50% marks or above in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination (CBSE, ISC, A Levels or any other equivalent Board examination) with English as a compulsory subject are preferred.
Students who are due to appear for Class XII final exams/awaiting results may be given provisional admission depending on their Group Discussion and Personal Interview Scores.
